Bono goes glam

(Music365.com) -- U2 frontman Bono has reworked T-Rex's glam rock classic 'Children Of The Revolution' for the soundtrack of the upcoming Moulin Rouge movie.

Bono worked with lifelong friend Gavin Friday, former member of The Electric Prunes, on the track.

The soundtrack is due early May and will also include the much hyped cover of 'Lady Marmalade' by Christina Aguilera, Pink, Lil' Kim and Mya.

Other tracks include Beck and Timbaland's cover of David Bowie's 'Diamond Dogs' and a brand new Fatboy Slim track, 'Because We Can'. Two versions of 'Nature Boy' will also feature, one by Massive Attack and the other by David Bowie.

Meanwhile, a U2 sampled dance track is to be released on May 21.

Entitled 'New Years Dub' the track is the first release from Musique, a new project from Moussa Clarke and Nick Hanson.

Moussa is best known for his hard house Ewan McGregor sampled track from Trainspotting and chart hit 'Sounds Of The Wickedness'.
