U2 Vertigo Tour DVD

(Dotmusic) -- U2 have announced details of a new DVD capturing the band on this year's enormous globe-straddling "Vertigo" world tour.
"Vertigo 2005/U2 Live From Chicago" was shot across the course of two shows at the city's United Center venue on May 09 and 10.
Not only does the DVD include an entire set from the Irish rock legends but also an additional disc of footage and rarities, including a number of 'surveillance cuts'.
Shot using infra-red cameras, these innovative clips capture the band playing a number of older songs, including "An Cat Dubh", "Electric Co" and "Running To Stand Still".
The main concert film was directed by Hamish Hamilton, the man behind the lens for U2's two previous full-length live DVDs - "Go Home - Live From Slane Castle" and "Elevation - Live In Boston"
