U2, Rice for Suu Kyi benefit album

(RTE.ie) -- U2, Damien Rice, REM, Coldplay and Pearl Jam are among the artists who have donated tracks to 'For the Lady', a benefit album for imprisoned Burmese peace activist Aung San Suu Kyi.
Billboard reports that the album is due out on 26 October, with proceeds going to the US Campaign for Burma.
U2 have contributed their song 'Walk On', while Rice contributes a live version of the track he co-wrote with Christy Moore, 'Lonely Soldier'.
Other artists appearing on the double album include Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Sting, Avril Lavigne and Travis.
