New U2 single bolts onto Net

(Jam ShowBiz!) -- U2's upcoming single "Electrical Storm" has bolted onto the Internet.
Although not due on radio until September 16, BBC's Radio 1 broadcasted the single on August 25 and immediately after, U2 fan sites began posting MP3 versions of the song.
Several links to the new song are available through U2 fan site www.youtwo.net.
"Electrical Storm" is one of two new tracks off the upcoming "Greatest Hits 1990-2000," due on November 5. The other track is "The Hands That Built America," written for Martin Scorsese's long-delayed epic, "Gangs Of New York."
Meanwhile, the band shot the video for "Electrical Storm" in the French seaside community of Eze-Sur-Mer, not far from Bono's home in France, reports MTV.com.
The video, directed by long-time U2 collaborator Anton Corbijn, features Minority Report star Samantha Morton who plays the part of a mermaid. The video for "Electrical Storm" will be out next month.
