U2 star The Edge marries

(Worldpop) -- U2 star The Edge got married yesterday in a ceremony in the South of France. The 41-year-old guitarist wed his girlfriend of 10 years Morleigh Steinberg. Guests included U2 singer Bono, rocker Lenny Kravitz, Eurythmics star Dave Stewart and actor Dennis Hopper. After the ceremony, conducted by a priest in a garden, there was a reception for family and friends at a nearby restaurant.
The Edge, real name Dave Evans, met Morleigh when she was a belly dancer on U2's Zoo TV tour. They have two children. It's The Edge's second marriage. He was divorced from first wife Aislinn in 1995.
This week U2 were named as the highest earning band in America in a poll published by Rolling Stone magazine. The group raked in a total of £44m last year, beating Dr. Dre into second place with £37m and The Beatles into third place with £34m.
