U2, Waits cover Ramones tunes

(JAM! Showbiz) -- U2 and Tom Waits have joined the cast of contributors to the forthcoming Ramones tribute CD being compiled by Rob Zombie.
U2 will take a run at "Beat On The Brat," while Waits will try "Jacky And Judy."
Zombie's official website (robzombie.com) said the singer is applying the "finishing touches" on the project, which is due for release this summer.
Previously announced contributors include Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, Pretenders, Garbage, Motorhead, Green Day, and Metallica.
