U2 Special Collection On-Target With Fans

(Launch.com) -- U2 7, the limited-edition seven-song collection that U2 put together for the Target store chain, is a big hit with fans. The retailer sold out of the title when it went on sale Tuesday (January 22) at its 1,055 outlets and at target.com, with Target scrambling to restock as quickly as possible.
Meanwhile, U2 fans outside the U.S. were chagrined to find out that they could not purchase copies of U2 7, even via target.com.
U2 7 includes the following B-sides and rarities: the "Beautiful Day" B-sides "Summer Rain" and "Always"; the "Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of" B-sides "Big Girls Are Best" and "Beautiful Day" (Quincey & Sonance mix); "Elevation" (Influx Mix); an acoustic version of "Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of;" and the single mix of "Walk On."
U2 has upcoming performances slated for the Super Bowl halftime show on February 3 in New Orleans and at the Grammy Awards on February 27 in Los Angeles. The group members are still considering an invitation to perform a public concert at the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, where they are already booked for a private gig.
